HI! My name is Lorena Gardner and I am the one woman show behind Ellie Kate Cookies. I am the owner, baker, decorator, photographer, social media manager, sometimes delivery driver, dish washer, and everything in between. I do everything with Ellie Kate Cookies part time when I am not working my corporate HR job. I started baking a lot during the pandemic to have something to do and keep busy. I always wanted to try decorating cookies but never really made time for it until I had a hard time finding someone to make them for a party I was hosting. Once I gave it a try, I discovered that it was one of the few things I was naturally good at. The first cookies I made were in April 2022.  I made Peeps and Easter egg cookies and I haven’t stopped creating and learning since. I cannot believe how far I’ve come in just one year but there is still so much to learn. This is a very happy side business I got into and I genuinely appreciate customers who allow me to  be a part of very special moments in their life whether it’s their kid’s birthday, an engagement, wedding or baby shower. Its more than just decorated cookies for me, it’s a piece of me that gets to be a part of someone else’s happiest moments. So thank you to all who decide to use me.

Oh, and who is Ellie Kate? That would be my daughter, Eliana Kate Gardner who I named this little endeavor after!
